Kadiatou Thiero

The 12-year-old 7th grader Kadiatou grows up in a family of four children and is the eldest with three younger brothers. The father is travelling, which means he left the family, the mother does not work. They live in two rented rooms, the father sometimes sends money. The parents did not go to school. Kadiatou is studying well, she is among the best in her class. Going home from school, she writes her lessons, washes the dishes and cleans the house. She reads a lot. She wants to be a government employee or a doctor.
