Born in 2008, Diakarida is an eighth-grader who lives in a family of four children. His father drives a rented car, his mother sells grilled platain at the market. Only the mother went to school. They live in a cramped courtyard at the end of alleys with the husband's extended family. In the room they live, there is no electricity, they carry water from the street. Diakarida is a good student, his favorite subject is biology. He likes to play football, he plays as a striker. In the morning they eat porrage for breakfast, there is cooked food at noon, and if there is any leftover, that is for dinner. At home, he helps a lot, cleans, sweeps, and cares for the family's 4 lambs. When he grows up, he wants to be a football player. Since 2017, he has been supported by our program. So far, one class has supported him, but they finished elementary school, leaving Diakarida without support.
